Sean's Podcast - Saving Your Future - How it came about
I recently created a podcast. Well, recently means this past summer. I wanted to get a number of episodes under my belt and get some experience with it.
What I can say at this point is that if there is something you are interested in trying out, go for it. The process has been fun. Am I good at it? Not quite yet, but I feel like I am getting better and better. There isn't much of a barrier to entry and I had the opportunity to put it on Google Play Music as well as iTunes. It started out on Soundcloud and now I am moving it to Libsyn.
To podcast I recommend you invest in a halfway decent microphone and maybe an audio interface. You can use Audacity to record and edit it and that is free.
Even if podcasting isn't for you, the moral of the story is look into what you have been meaning to do and figure out how to do it. Then get going. Even if it isn't perfect, you have to start somewhere.
